From the end of October to mid-February, MNSH is open to ladies searching for a quiet and restful stay while visiting a loved one in hospital. Trams, trains and buses serve Richmond very well so you can be within easy reach of many major hospitals. Onsite car parking is also available. Subject to availability, accommodation at Madre Nazarena Student's House may be booked anytime:
- on a long-term basis throughout the year for a minimum period of one academic year or
-
on a short-term basis from the end of October to mid-February only
for:
- those studying Summer Semester courses, and
- women caring for loved ones in nearby hospitals (for details please download our leaflet from the left margin of this page).
If you have any queries regarding our accommodation, fees, application procedure, etc, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Accommodation Fees
We have 29 single rooms:
- 23 standard rooms,
- 4 medium rooms,
- 2 large rooms - upon request these rooms can be converted into twin-share rooms.
Our accommodation fees for 2010 are from $950 to $1000 per calendar month - please contact us for further details.
Holding Fee
This fee affirms your intention to book accommodation at Madre Nazarena Student's House and for the processing of your application. Please make the cheque payable to Madre Nazarena Student's House.

Other Fees
Charges apply for use of certain facilities such as telephone, car parking bay, satellite internet access and laundry coin-operated machines.
Application Procedure
To make a booking, applicants may either submit the following by post or in person to any member of our Administration Team at Madre Nazarena Student's House:
- Completed Application, Medical & Financial Responsibility Forms (PDF, 57Kb).
- Letter of recommendation from Parish Priest, Minister or School Chaplain/Dean.
- Copy of certificate of religion/baptism (optional).
- Copy of tertiary college/university enrolment.
- Copy of passport or identification papers.
- Holding Fee.
If you are unable to print or download the required forms, please contact us with your name and postal address or fax details to have them posted or faxed to you.
Confirmation of Booking
All applicants will receive written notification of the outcome of their booking.
