World Youth Day 2011 (Added 13 Jul 2010)

Our students were enthusiastic participants of World Youth Day 2008—find out what is happening with World Youth Day 2011 which is being held in Madrid, Spain on 16 - 21 August 2011.

Students Celebrate Golden Jubilee (Added 17 Feb 2010)

Throughout 2009, the Daughters of Divine Zeal celebrated 50 years of love and service in Australia. Our MNSH students danced for all on our 50th anniversary on 28 February 2009:

Culmination Day Celebration (Added 17 Feb 2010)

Madre Nazarena Student's House holds many activities for a happy, friendly community of students who feel quite at home here. On 19 November 2009 we had a paraliturgy, thanksgiving and dinner to celebrate the end of the academic year and our girls' October - January birthdays.

Opening of 2008 Academic Year (Added 18 Mar 2008)

On Thursday 28 February 2008 at 6:00pm in our Chapel, we had a Thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration for the opening of the 2008 academic year and for the Foundation Day of our FDZ House here in Richmond, Victoria. The presider of the celebration was Fr Peter Norden SJ.

We wish to thank everyone who joined us in thanking God for his blessings.

Cultural Night (Added 30 Jan 2007)

At the end of the 2006 school year we had a Cultural Night—a thanksgiving celebration.

There are many reasons to say thank you to our Creator. They are numberless because every expression of life from him is gratuitous. Everything is a gift: life itself, freedom, intelligence and reason, friendship and love, and the whole of creation.

	As the year draws to a close, a multitude of events has happened, a volume of words has been spoken, born of a thousand thoughts.
	As the year comes to an end, an array of emotions has been experienced, felt of a hundred needs, and drawn out of many wants.
	As the year smoulders into the past, a range of decisions has been reached, formed from a vision for tomorrow, and inspired by the presence of our Creator.
	As the year becomes no more, and we focus on what has been, let us remember that the Source of our being is with us, asking us but one question: "What part of your days could you have lived differently had I been in your mind?"

Eternal Word, we thank you for the gift of each day. We thank you for the gift of our lives. As we journey into the future, help us to rely on you as our mentor in all that we say and do. Forgive us when we do not love you and others as we should. Inspire us to do all of our good works in your name so that we can become your instruments of peace and harmony in the world. So be it.
