The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few; pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his harvest. (Mt 9:37-38; Lk 10:2) |

We arrived in the United States in 1959. For a number of years there was not much to show for our Sisters' work. It was like a seed that, hidden, was waiting to sprout. ![]() Five of us have been living at Reading (Pennsylvania) since 1979 where our apostolic work is the running of a nursery and primary school. We also undertake religious instruction in the parish. On 19 August 1997 we opened a house in Reedley, in California. Here, there is a mix of ethnic groups—Japanese, Armenians, Mexicans and Filipinos—who all want to express the unity of their faith with the help of the Sisters. ![]() Our school welcomes all children and youngsters with a view to educating them, showing them our love and helping them to grow as humans and Christians. We are well aware that the harvest around us is mature and abundant. We thank the Lord for enlightening us and we pray that God will help us accomplish, each day, the mission entrusted to us with joy and good will, aware that every life is a vocation.
